GREAT NEWS! Tim has found a full time job this summer. Because of his impressive GPA (4.0) and other outstanding qualities, they basically emailed him and offered it to him! Well, of course he had to interview but they offered it right after he was done interviewing. This is so much nicer than the internships he had in mind. If he would have been accepted for one of those, he would probably be in a different state over the summer. So I won't be alone, yay!
Anyway, the job is with a research team at The Ohio State University. Tim tried to explain it all to me and I kind of got lost. This is what I got out of it. The word "BIG" emphasizes how expensive this project is. So, there is this BIG BIG BIG laser that apparently collides atoms/particles together to create energy, and Tim is going to build it. Here's the website if you want to see more

I'm so super proud of him. And the nice part is that it's full time during the summer, and part time during the school year. Yea, gas to OSU will hurt a little, but his job pays well too. Also, he will basically keep this job for the remainder of his college career. Well, at least while he's doing his bachelor's. So, this too counts as 2 years experience and hopefully will land a job right out of college that will help make our family stable and maybe even offer to pay for Tim's grad school. I guess there's some pretty high up people on this team that he can network with. Anyway, I got too excited posting this all and I realized I have to leave for work in 10 minutes, and I'm still in my pj's.
