UPDATES! Finally....

It's been a while since we posted pictures of Levi. Well, he's getting so big that it's getting very difficult for me to carry him in his car seat anywhere. In fact, it's even getting hard for Tim. However, I'd rather have a fat healthy baby than a skinny thing that doesn't look healthy. Plus, I love to chew on those cheeks.
Trying out his bumbo for the first time. Not really a fan of sitting upright. In fact, every time I try to get him to sit he screams because he hates it so much. I think he'd rather be on his belly which he's not a fan of either. Anyway, the next picture is a good one that I caught. He is well known for this action
Once I put him on his belly and he was so tired, he just fell asleep. He looks pretty lifeless. Don't worry, I didn't leave him like that. When Levi sleeps, he SLEEPS so I didn't even wake him up when I put him in his crib that night.

I've posted 3 other blog posts today, make sure you check them out to finally get up to date with our family.

Remember my smart hubby?

On Thursday, we were invited to the Ohio State house for a luncheon. This special event was in recognition of students from community colleges who made the All-Ohio Academic team. There were 3 teams. 3rd team had about 25-30 students. 2nd team has 10, and first team also had 10. My husband, Timothy Lee Franjesevic, made the first team! He's got himself a nice scholarship check, a certificate, a pin, and 2 medallions. One for the All-Ohio Academic team and one for the Coca-Cola Gold scholarship. Unfortunately, my camera DIED!! So I only got a few pictures. Enjoy.

He works so hard and I'm so proud of him.. :D

EASTER... 3 weeks early?

So as we all know, Easter was a little late in April this year. Well, apparently no one told my husband. I actually meant to post this 2 weeks ago, but after some technical difficulties it ended up not working and I haven't posted since. So I'm playing catch-up. Anyway, the date was April 3rd, and it was actually General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so we were at home anyway. We woke up that morning and I asked Tim if he wanted peanut butter pancakes. Like I said, I think Tim thought I was doing specifically for Easter.

After we ate, Tim starts to boil water. I'm like, "What are you doing?" And he answers, "Boiling eggs, so we can dye them for Easter" That's when I had to break it to him that it wasn't really Easter. Let's just say that he was heartbroken. It also made since to why Tim bought me flowers the night before.
Well, to make Tim feel better. We dyed eggs anyway. Some of them didn't come out very well. Most of them we colored with a wax crayon so the dye wouldn't cover certain parts of the egg. The kit was way old, but surprisingly they didn't come out all too bad. Enjoy the pictures, the eggs didn't make it past that Sunday. Tim has a thing for eggs, especially hard boiled.

Love that my shirt matches our kitchen, lame. :)

I love applesauce

Who doesn't love fruit? I tell you Levi LOVES it. Within the last week or so we've started Levi on solid foods. At first I tried the whole rice with formula and he didn't take to that too well. He just wasn't used to the formula being a different texture. Anyway, this was our first attempt and as you can see, we were MESSY!
A few days later we tried and again, this time with applesauce, and SUCCESS!!! He loves it and eats very well. It still takes him some time to get it all down, because he just sticks his tongue out a lot. So far we've tried applesauce, pears, and sweet potatoes. He's also had bananas, but he's only had them at daycare. I've read that bananas can add to constipation and he already has a hard time passing bowel movements sometimes so I don't give them to him. Here are some more pictures, specifically of daddy helping!

There weren't very many good pictures. Levi panics when he doesn't get food one spoonful after another and either grabs at the spoon or the bowl, making the pictures blurry or his hands are in his face.

YUM!
