The Appointment is SET.

So I had a doctor's appointment on thursday. All went well and we finally got to hear the little heart beat. We were unable to hear it when we had the first ultrasound done because the machine did not do audio. Once again, I didn't cry- just giggled. I love it! They prescribed me some more meds to help with some not-so-wonderful side effects of pregnancy that have to do with going to the bathroom. So hopefully I'll be relieved soon, I haven't felt it kick in yet. Also, since I was 15 weeks at my appointment they said they would go ahead and schedule my next appointment along with my ultrasound on the same day. So technically I get to find out (hopefully) what the sex is one week earlier than my 20week date. I'm super excited!
OH, in other news. Tim and I both made the Dean's list again this last quarter. Also, Tim just got a promotion at work to assistant manager with the included raise and everything. Things are going great and life is wonderful!!!

As of now, I'm officially loving my life. Wait, shouldn't I always love life and learning? Hmmm.....sometimes. Anyway, I'm almost 15 weeks into the pregnancy, which means I'm in my second trimester. I haven't had any morning sickness for almost 2 1/2 weeks (which is wonderful might I add) and I'm getting my energy back. I sleep in a lot still but that's because I toss and turn a good amount at night. But that won't last long, which brings me to other good news. I finally got a FULL time job. Working for Creative World of Learning as a pre-K teacher. I start after memorial day, so this week I'm getting stuff done and out of the way. Stuff meaning grocery shopping from the unlimited amount of food I've been consuming lately. Oh and school.. *sigh* It's a good thing this quarter will be over soon. I will be in school full time and working full time for 2 weeks and its going to break me down. Tim has been doing it since last December, so kudos to him, but I'm not going to be able to handle it as well. (And its only 2 weeks!) OH and speaking of school, while registering for classes for the fall quarter I find out that finals are November 17-23. I'm due on NOVEMBER 18TH!!! Talk about being stressed about this little one's birthday, and its only MAY. Good thing I've already emailed my professors who will be able to work with me on it. Sometimes community college in is my favor. :)

It has been a while since I last posted (6 weeks) and I'm sorry for that. Today I am 12 weeks pregnant! Tim and I went to my first ultrasound yesterday and we got to see our little one for the first time. It was really neat. I thought I would cry, but I just had myself a giggle fit. I had to calm down because the monitor was shaking and I couldn't see what was going on. Baby must've been like, geesh mom calm down its just me. We didn't hear the heartbeat because the machine did not have sound, but we did see it. Tim was in awe almost the entire time, he was just like "wow, look at that. that's our baby" etc. etc. I think it has become more real for him and I think he understands things a little bit more, like the fact that when I don't feel good... I REALLY don't feel good. Or when I'm cranky its more because of the hormones acting up.
Oh in other news, I've put in my two weeks notice for my work...and I did it almost two weeks ago. So my last official day is tomorrow, but they've ask that I come back in on monday and tuesday to show the new hire just what to do and how to recognize the parents of the kid. I was happy to help, seeing as NO ONE helped me and I was lost for about 3 weeks. Unfortunately, I do need to find another job though, especially if we want to keep saving money for when this little one comes into the world in November.
