Victory!

So, we've had a mouse in our home for the past week a half (we'll at least we knew of him for that period of time) Anyway, it's been really annoying because the traps we bought haven't been working...hence the alive mouse still in the house somewhere. So, 2 days ago Tim bought some new traps, basically some cardboard with really sticky stuff that catches them when they walk or run across it. And still NO MOUSE. Now we're just frustrated. Then last night as I was coming out of Levi's room after putting him down, I look down and there he is.. standing next to the sticky trap. And he WALKS AROUND IT!! Ugh, it was so frustrating. Then he ran towards me and I jumped and he ran back into our bedroom. I started explaining to Tim what happened and how he walked around the trap when the mouse came back out. This time we cornered him into going under the couch where there was another sticky trap and we got him. He didn't know it was there since he'd have to run under the loose slip cover so he couldn't see the trap. Tim and I were so excited, after he took care of the mouse he came in and said.. we have to post this on Facebook. And from that, we spent the next 15 minutes composing our little story/poem:
There once was a beast that invaded our house. It was too cute for such a small mouse. We tried and tried but to no avail; he avoided each trap, even his tail. We saw him twice as the night drew near, and yet again he instilled great fear. Here and there, it was only a glance; soon all three of us were in a war-like dance. He hurdled the trap and towards Sarah he ran; who spun him about which foiled his plan. He charged at Tim who stomped by the chair; and soon enough was caught by his hair. "Victory!" we cried, we knew he'd be dead; for Tim took him outside and chopped off his head!
